Fun facts
Its sight isn´t very good, but it has an excellent sense of smell that helps it locate and ambush its prey.
It is covered in thick, yellow mucus, which protects it against the rocks it lives among.
General aspects
It has an elongated body, that narrows towards a rounded tail. It can be green or brown in color. It has a large head and small eyes.
Its anal and dorsal fins are covered in skin and are fused with its tail, which gives it the appearance of a ribbon or snake. It can measure up to 5 feet in length.
It feeds on fish and crustaceans.
