Fun facts
It is called a Sea Hare because it has two tentacles behind its eyes that look like hare ears.
It can release an intense purple ink that smells like cedarwood when it feels threatened.
General aspects
A variable-colored, reddish-brown or greenish mollusk, with a fleshy and delicate texture. It has four tentacles on its head and two wing-like folds on its back that cover its gills. It has a muscular foot on its underside, that it uses to move itself.
Juveniles live at around 59 feet from the surface, while adults prefer the intertidal zone.
It feeds on red algae, sea lettuce and sea grasses.
