Fun facts
It is one of the two most poisonous lizzards that exist in the world.
It uses its venom as a defense, but does not inject it. Instead, it strains from its grooved teeth.
It is of great medical importance, since the toxins from its venum have potential medical uses.
General aspects
Saurian measuring about 16 inches, large head and body, and a short tail.
Lives on the Mexican Pacific coast, and is most active during early morning or sundown. It is slow-moving and quiet.
It feeds on eggs and small prey. They´re getting more and more scarce.
