What are Rajiforms (Rays)?
They are fish with a cartilaginous skeleton, closely related to sharks. What differentiates them from sharks is their flat body, and gills located on their body´s underside.
Where do rays live?
In areas close to the coast and in open sea. They live along different depths and are commonly found close to the seabed.
What do rays eat?
They prefer shrimp, clams, bristle worms, fish, snails and octopus.
